Full course description
Overview:
This certification from the University of Alaska Fairbanks Center for Teaching and Learning concerns open educational resources (OERs) and their importance in fostering equitable learning for all humanity! In the rapidly evolving educational landscape of the 21st century, OERs are included as part of the innovative teaching and learning tools of open education practice. Because these resources are free, adaptable, and often high-quality, both educators are empowered to create more inclusive, flexible, and engaging learning environments. OERs allow all learners to explore and contribute to all fields of knowledge. OERs help reduce the cost of education and encourage collaboration, creativity, and accessible co-creation. OERs help foster practice in equitable lifelong learning. We are excited to guide you through this journey of exploring, creating, and leveraging OERs to enhance teaching and learning.
