Full course description
Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy is self-paced and consists of six modules. This course will allow you to build a strong foundation of teaching practices that support student success through understanding and applying the culturally sustaining pedagogy educational framework. Participants will think critically about asset-based pedagogical approaches, examine teaching practices, and foster the development of interculturally mindful teaching philosophies.
The time estimate for completing all 6 modules is 4 hours. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate of completion from the UAF Center for Teaching and Learning. Additionally, upon completion, participants will be awarded two microcredentials through Credly.
