Full program description
This training program contains all of the mandatory training for new 4-H volunteers. This training should be completed by any individuals who are new to volunteering with 4-H or those who have had a break in service of more than three years.
➡️ When you enroll in this training program, you will be automatically signed up for a series of required courses. Check your progress by visiting your Catalog Student Dashboard in Catalog.
➡️ All the following training courses must be successfully completed in order to achieve the 4-H Returning Volunteer Training Certificate of Completion:
- UAF 4-H Volunteer Modules - 2025-2026 (for New Volunteers)
- UAF 4-H Volunteer - Civil Rights Training - 2025-2026
- UAF 4-H Volunteer - Clery (Campus Security Authority) Training - 2025-2026
- UAF 4-H Volunteer - Title IX Training - 2025-2026
- UAF 4-H Volunteer - Protection of Minors Training - 2025-2026
If you plan to drive for 4-H, you will also need to take the UAF 4-H Volunteer - Driver Training - 2025-2026 and complete additional requirements.
✅ Once you have completed all of the training in the New Volunteer or Returning Volunteer series, you will automatically receive an email with a PDF of your certificate. Email the certificate as an attachment to susie.wilkie@alaska.edu. Can't find your certificate in your email? Look for it in your Catalog Student Dashboard.
